Dressing up for the weekend is something that I’m sure you all know about. If you’re anything like me, which is unlikely since I’m always in jeans and a shirt, then your weekends are probably spent in some average-looking clothes. Well this weekend is going to be different, but it’s up to you how different it will be on how much effort you put into the outfit. There’s so many things out there that can help make your outfit unique and standout. You just need to find one of them!
Tips on how to Dress up for the weekend
1. Have a look around your wardrobe
What are the main colours you wear? For example are you mainly wearing black? Is it mainly white with maybe a splash of colour here and there? Or is it mostly pastels; such as yellow, pink, purple or even green. Also have a look at the clothes that you have recently bought. Are they all in the same colour or do they have the same colours too?
2. Look at your favourite band’s artwork
If you love a band then you might be lucky enough to have their album artwork. So why not get yourself something to look like it? You can always go on iTunes and find the album artwork that you like, then turn it into a wallpaper for your phone or computer! Here is mine;
3. Look in the music section of your local store for CD covers
Head onto the record shop and browse through all of the CD covers. Find ones that you like and use them as inspiration for your outfit. Whatever colours they have on them can be used in your outfit. You can also do this at HMV, but I would recommend doing it online because you can get a bigger range of CD covers to choose from.
4. Look on the internet for inspiration
You can find great outfits if you look around. This is something that I do all the time! I love looking at different fashion websites and getting ideas for my next outfit!
