For many, a beach vacation is a dream. Sandy shores, serene waters, and tropical drinks are thought to be the keys to relaxation. However, for every dream beach, there’s one more sinister. These are the world’s most dangerous beaches.

Some of these beaches find their danger in natural phenomenon that makes swimming deadly, while others are packed to the brim with predators from the animal kingdom, and still others are polluted past the point of no return. Then of course, there are the beaches made dangerous by nature’s most violent hunter: man himself.
